Inside a Hypnia Memory Foam Mattress
We're so proud of our memory foam mattreses that we'd like to show you how they're put together. Stage 1 Reflex Base Layer
This form the foundation layer of the memory foam mattress and is an all important component because it effectively replaces the springs that you find in a traditional mattress. This layer gives the support to memory foam layer, without which, it will not work.
Stage 2 Visco Memory Foam Layer
Memory Foam is all about density and is rated in weight per cubic metre. All of our Hypnia memory foam has a density of 75Kg/m3. The greater the depth of this layer, the greater the Contouring and Weight distribution of the mattress.
The maximum 3" Memory layer is certainly the optimum depth from which to obtain the most benefit. For a firmer feel, you may wish to choose a slimmer memory foam layer.
Stage 3 Top Hypnia 'CoolSoft' Cover Layer
A Hypnia 'CoolSoft' cover totally encloses the foam layers, yet easily zips off for washing. This consists of a luxury velour finished hypoallergenic fabric cover with a mesh base which allows the whole assembly to breathe.
